Since September 2020, Oasis Kyrgyzstan has trained more than 56 employees of child protection departments, representatives of government agencies in the Chui region to protect the rights of vulnerable children in contact with and in conflict with the law. This training helped to understand how state and local authorities can interact effectively in solving the problems of vulnerable children in the context of COVID 19 and other crisis situations. The trainings provoked heated debates and heated discussions as a response among the participants. More trainings are ahead of us. The events were organized in close cooperation with the regional administration of the Chui region within the framework of the project "Protection of the rights of care leavers from orphanages" with the support of the German Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.
